No awnser to my SATA problem yet. HELP!!!

:blackeye: Help!!! Jimbolitis.

Asus A8V Maxtor serial drive. OK, I've done the basics. Maxblast got my drive partitioned, and formated. My XP requires the 6 floppy pre-install setup. I pressed F6 to set up my third party SCSI,or RAId driver. No response to that. Just the usual request for the next disk. I even tried another keybord. Also all jumpers on hard drive that Maxtor shows. Please, can anyone help? Jimbolitis.

What is the problem installing from CD?

My version of XP requires the 6 CD's to install. Can I make a CD install disk that is bootable? I'm really trying. I do know that I need the SATA drivers installed before the hard drive is recognized. And yes, I've tried all the jumper settings, even jumper free. J.
