No display?

When I turn on my computer, everything seems to work, except... there's no display.

The screen remains blank.

I don't even hear the verifying beep at start-up.

I looked inside of the computer and all the parts appear to function, but I haven't tested them.

Any ideas to what might be happening?

Was this working okay up to now or is this a new build and this is the first time you are trying to start it?

It was working about 2 days ago... but when it was working it would freeze up fairly frequently for no apparent reason.
CPU usage remained at 1%-2%...
It's freaking me out.
I've tried removing then replacing parts, but I ended up breaking a clip, luckily it wasn't needed.
Now I'm a tad afraid to do anything else.

Is this the PC in your System specs? Can you give some of the specifics of the components? For example, you say Asus for the motherboard. What model? What brand and model RAM? Power supply?
