I need help with this please you guys.
Wireless modem router connects to ISP OK; DHCP issues IP addresses OK, wireless security temporarily turned off; firewalls temporarily off; two wireless connections both working OK with access to the router and able to share files across the LAN; both running XP Pro SPII. Both running damn norton but appear to be exactly the same setup but turning it off made no difference. Connecting by ethernet made no difference.
Hijackthis log clear.
One can access emails and the browser, the other not. Going to resort to a reinstalling the OS as a last resort.
Anyone any ideas??
cheers

Backup the user profile and remove it. If you're on a domain you'll need to get the last prior backup for the profile to be rebuild. Otherwise home users can just delete profile but backup it up first. Then go into safemode and remove it. When you log back into OS Windows will recreate a new Profile.

Try that before you blow out the OS.

If you're using Active directory you can clone one user to the another. If you're at home see user rights to the email client. If you're not running a Mail Server.
