New member hoping one of you can help. My wife's computer (Gateway running XP with SP2, PC-Cillin, dial-up connection). It will not accept updates for XP, Ad-Ware, Pc-Cillin, Incredimail and other programs. The error is usually a "failure to connect to server".
I have tried disabling the firewall, ran Spybot, CCleaner, ran registry cleaner, spoke to ISP and nothing works. Had problem with updating another program but the site gave her instructions to make their downloads accepted.
Any help greatly appreciated.
