here is the problem ...
the pc at work as of today has no internet.....
the conection is ADSL via a phone line...
the modem is detected , but cannot astablish a connection( well it´s there , but shows indication of life) but its there : Alcatel speedtouch..´someting´..

the testing so far: checked for spyware (Ad-aware). Virus scanned (Norton). checked for registry errors... etc . nothing .....

everything works except there is no NET

any suggestions ....

Well, did you already sign up with an ISP?
Did you change Windows Internet Connection Settings to modem?

Did you select the apropriate User / pass / auth mesures ?

What OS is it running? Is it getting an IP address?
