No picture to monitor. Help!!!

Recently I tried to turn on my computer but the monitor would not receive a picture. The computer sounds like it is starting up like normal and the monitor is receiving power. What could the problem be?? I am running off of an Asus motherboard and an Asus Radeon video card. I tried hooking up another monitor to my computer but it too didn't receive a picture. Please help.

I do not get anything on my monitor. The green light comes on momentarily then it says "no input signal, going to safe mode" and goes dark, but the whole time the computer is running just like normal.

what is your video card? is it a 9600, 9200, etc. etc.? is your driver completely up to date? is it burned? if none of these consist then it might be your power supply.

check to see if the card is pushed all the way in. like members already said, it could not be getting power, check for that too. also you can try flashing the bios in case someone fooled around with it and disabled the video from the card...
