No POST

I recently bought a new SATA HDD. Upon installation, the drive would not function. I looked into the matter and the problem was that I needed to update my BIOS in order for it to configure the HDD as SLAVE.

Upon updating the BIOS per the instructions provided, it no longers POSTs. I swapped the JP5 connector and still, nothing.

Everything worked perfectly, all the way up until I reset the BIOS.

Please help me...
