No signal on Monitor help

I just got ge force 6600 agp 8x replacing 4 mx agp 8x and i replace the video cards but monitor does not pick up signal ... the fan on video card works so there is power.

does it need more power ?

if I but back 4mx it works just fine

It sounds like you didn't uninstall the old video driver and install a new driver for the new card. Also, be sure to connect the additional power connector to the new card if it requires one.

If you've done all that, then your power supply might be the problem.
