No Signal

Hi, I'm getting 'no signal' from my monitor, i cant even get a picture or the loadup screen to get into the bios. The cpu starts up fine but it does not beep, indicating the monitor will start working. what do i do......someone help me PLEASE......

hi there. i also put up my first post a bit ago. i had a problem similar to this. it was resolved by confirming the master/slave settings on my hard disks. if this isn't set right, the hard disks don't know who's supposed to send the signal to the monitor.

Try unplugging the monitor and seeing if any pins in the plug are bent, it they are you will need to straighten them out carefully.

If that doesnt help, try clearing your cmos, your mobo manual will tell you exactly how to do that!!!
