No Sound from my PC at all (HELP)

Well yesterday suddenly all my computer sound just stopped, no sound is coming out of my speaker as well as my headphones. i've tried eveything , from check if the volume is mute, uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling it and also checking if the sound card is where it should be. I just had this sound card for only two 4 months so i'm not really sure if its busted or something

any help solving this problem would be nice

Showing up in Device Manager? Any yellow exclamation marks?

Is the card seated properly?

Uninstall it from device manager, power down, change pci slots, power back up.

Well i see no yellow exclamation marks in the DM,

This is wht i tried again, Uninstalled everything related to the sound card, power off, then changed the pci slot of my sound card, then power back on, installed the driver from the cd, and then updated it with the latest driver.

yes i also have my onboard sound in BIOS disable

Yet I still can't hear any thing,

please help guys

First thing I would use the onboard sound and see if that works so that you can be sure the problem is with the sound card, its set up or software, then troubleshoot it from there
