All of a sudden my sound has stopped working on vista. It worked perfectly fine untill yesterday when i put a second hard drive in my computer, i removed it after because it didn't work anyway, but then i loaded up vista to find my sound not working. I reinstalled the OS and no luck, even though it worked straight away when i installed it last time. So i tried installing the driver which came with the motherboard, that didn't make any difference. I know none of my hardware is broken because the sound works on Ubuntu. This is really confusing me. Anyone know what could be the cause?
