No sound

I don't hear sound coming from my speakers or headphones. (my volume is not low or mute)

I recently updated my Realtek HD audio driver and after that, no sound.

The thing i downloaded was:
Realtek Function driver for Realtek Azalia audio chip (Including Microsoft UAA Driver in English edition) version R1.92

After that I tried to re-install my old driver from the disk I got with my motherboard (GA-M57SLI-S4) and that didn't work either. I also tried driver rollback in windows.

I dont know what to do

Have the original motherboard sound driver handy. Go into Control Panel, System, Device Manager and delete the Realtek sound driver you see in the list. Reboot your system
