A relative of mine just installed a new HP DVD burner. Software was installed. He tried to burn a movie, but no sound was recorded. I thought maybe he needed to download codecs. This was done, and retried. This did produce a disc that had sound. A second recording was tried ( different movie ) no sound. Then I suggested trying to slow the burn rate down. This morning he told me that he has not tried lowering below 16x. I have been seeing so many different factors, and possible problems with burning dvd's. Anything from enough HD space, memory, power supply, etc. How do you narrow this down...............
