    Hey guys,
So, I'm building a new budget system for a family friend and I've run into a situation I haven't seen before. I finished it all up, and when I powered it up for the first time, I get drive activity (HDD and CD), POST (keyboard lights), single speaker beep, the works. However, I am getting no video signal. I've swapped out the video card to test it out (there is no onboard VGA on this board) and nothing. I put the VC in another system and tested it, and no problems. Same with RAM. I've double checked all the connections (it was late when I put it together :p) still nothing. Any ideas?

Have you tried starting in safe mode?

    Hello! Welcome to TechSpot

Does this card require seprate power supply cord?
May be a bad agp slot.

So, after I posted, I decided to pull the mobo out and do a bench test. On the table, still had the same problem. So, decided to take the board and proc back to the retailer I picked it up at. We grabbed another board and off the shelf, fired it up and guess what....bad board. With it POSTing, my guess, bad AGP slot.
    Geat call there!
Posting from my friend's mom's new PC as we speak :)
