No matter what type of audio/video drivers I download nothing seems to work it just asks me to restart the computer and when I do, it's back to where I started!! For the audio driver, it asks me to install the HDA audio driver first which is what I did!! After that I restarted the computer and tried to install the audio driver for the computer but it still asks for the HDA audio driver that I already installed!!

This is on a fresh computer of XP, so I don't know what could be wrong!! I've included the dxdiag info if that would help you guys!!

Thanks for the help!!

Alright I tried looking for the BIOS:

http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=R304939

When I tried that one it said wrong system model that I'm using Precision WorkStation 370, so I tried getting the 370 BIOS:

http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=R129672

And it said the following:

---------------------------
Dell System WorkStation 370 BIOS Flash A08
---------------------------
Windows Configuration Error

An error was encountered trying to configure Windows to

allow flashing, please reboot and try again. If this error

re-occurs, please contact technical help.

BTW, the link you gave me didn't work just opened a blank web page!!

Sounds like a variant motherboard (one for a 370) inside a T7400 case. Is that possible?

Refine your idea of what you have and work with the excellent support available from Dell as a Precision 370 for drivers. Very good if you can locate a Precision 370 service manual at Dell as well. The one I found for my T3500 is excellent.

ps Link not blank for me...how odd. Might be subject to 'zone controls' if you are not in US.
