OK, I just bought and installed Norton 360 (3 license) on the 2 computers in my house (yes, I realise now I should have read the reviews of the afore mentioned product but, hey, you live and learn).
I am now unable to put a writeable disk (DVDR or CDR) in any of the optical drives on either machine without the computer resetting a few seconds after it begins accessing the disc. This occurs whether the media is blank or finalised and the computer continues to endlessly reset until you remove the disk.
The 2 mahines are almost entirely different in configuration, but both are running XP Sp2.
Does anyone know if it's possible to resolve this issue as, other than this, I've found Norton 360 to be actually pretty good?
