Norton removed some files

Yeesterday, Norton security informed me that it would scan my computer and remove some virus files.
I believe that it created some restore point and then removed some files.
Now I am not able to access my browser firefox.
I need help about how to go back to restore point in windows XP and restore all old files.

Before you try to restore to an older point, try downloading a fresh copy of Firefox (using a different browser - ie Internet Explorer / Chrome / Opera). Uninstall Firefox properly from the Control Panel, and reboot computer. Then install the fresh copy of Firefox.
