not able to load home page though internet connection is established..

i recently had a problem of not being able to connect to a wireless network.. i went to setting n changed an option to "Access only peer to peer connections" n i was able to connect to the wireless network.. but when i start using this network, it says "cannot load page or cannot find page", though a strong signal connection with the wireless network is obtained.. can anyone pls direct me on how to go abt fixing this problem.. i dont think it will work even if we re-install internet browser... but when i choose other wireless network, the home page is being able to be launched..

check your DNS server addresses in your IP address properties "ipconfig /all" in the Win2k/WinXP command prompt.
