  1. Back in October Dropbox announced a new partnership with Adobe, and they’re back with more news today. Now you can edit PDFs in Dropbox on your iPhone or iPad. In a company blog post, Dropbox said that with the latest versions of the Dropbox and Acrobat Reader iOS apps, you can annotate (or electronically sign) your PDFs before saving and sharing them. Just open a PDF in Dropbox, tap “Edit” and then you’ll be taken to the Acrobat Reader. Any changes you make will be saved in Dropbox.

For now this is just available on iOS mobile devices, but Dropbox says that support for Android devices is coming in 2016.

Editing PDFs on the desktop app (for PC and Mac) has been available since Dropbox integrated with Adobe last month. And adding mobile integration makes sense if Dropbox really wants people to be able to edit wherever, whenever.

This is just the latest effort from Dropbox to make it easier to edit documents. In the past, they've worked with Office mobile and Microsoft to offer support for editing files in each platform.
