Ok Ladies,

This is my problem, Oblivion only froze twice on me and the rest of the times I am playing it, the game cuts out and I get the dreaded black screen of death and then it restarts with those horrible words in Windows saying.. "Your system has recovered from a serious error." Soo I am thinking my 7800 GTX is kicking the bucket or it could be a problem with the mobo. The other option would be of overheating issue maybe but i dont know. Another thing is it runs considerably laggy at points. Look at my specs and see what you think. There should be some lag but not alot considering my specs and all the high settings up. Specs are in my profile. Tell me what you think.

Try a new power supply. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817103931 Also, if possible, sell your 7800GTX and buy a X1900XT(X) 512MB and sell your FX-57 and buy a X2 4800+/ FX-60 because Oblivion and future games will run faster if you have multi-cores.
