Oblivion in game music skipping

    hey everbody,

    i have a slight problem on my hands. when i play oblivion, the in-game music skips a lot. all the other sounds like footsteps/swords/battles/environments play perfectly fine but the background music won't stop skipping. I use a creative x-fi soundblaster xtreme music card to which i recently updated the drivers to and a sennheiser hd555 headset as well. I can provide any extra info needed.

    Do you take care of your oblivion disk? It may have a really bad scratch...
