Somewhat misleading, perhaps. It's clearly referring to a non-SSD drive, but the way it's phrased almost makes it seem like it is talking about an SSD.

  6. Just remember it comes with OCZ's warranty, which Toshiba won't honor.

Doubt that applies on new products? Would be nice for clarification though...

Pc sales are declining because people have no $$$ and these companies introduce stuff like this. People are buying mostly low end stuff . I know that I would like a ssd but I can do 3tb for $150.00 and wait a few more seconds

I look at it a different way. I bought a 250gb ssd for $150 and just conserve space. Speed is something I will always benefit from whereas unused space is worthless to me. Especially when steam saves all my games in the cloud, and with today internet speeds I can have all the games I could fit redownloaded over night. I also have a 1tb external for backups if I want to store things there. Ive honestly met three people in my life who use terabytes of space and they are all pirates. Not to say there aren't legitimate uses for mass storage, but its overrated imo

People that have GoPro cameras can eat up a lot of space very quickly.

  13. This is clearly not meant for desktop user. I found this drive trying to solve a manufacturing problem. I have a linescan camera capturing several gb of image data per second and I am unable to store all of the images because I can not dump it from memory in time. This will allow me to store and analyze images I could not do otherwise.
