My Windows Me system has developed the annoying behavior of forgetting where I put the icons on the desktop each time I boot up. None of the "Arrange Icons" choices have been checked. I can reposition the icons with WinTidy, or I could restore everything from backup, but I am curious to find out what happened and how to correct it.
