Ok. This one is wierd. Dell 2400; 2.4ghz celeron, XP-Home; Has Windows Media Player-9. MS Office 2000-Pro. My daughter conducts media searches from within MP9, such as a song title, or recording artists. When she clicks on the search button, the office 2000 installer starts, and a box opens up requesting the insertion of office disk 1. I have no clue what is going on. Does anybody?!?

Yes, I see this at work fairly frequently. First off, if it's up, close the Office toolbar. Then with one of the Office apps open (Word, Outlook, whatever) click on Help at the top and then Detect And Repair. You'll need the Office cd's for it, but it should repair the installer issue.

    Hope it helps.:)
