On my laptop I have Vista ultimate installed. It is bang up to date, has no virus or spyware/greyware stuff etc.

So does anyone know why my explorer keeps not responding and I have to restart it etc?

My cpu indicator thing in the side bar shows core 1 100% and often core 2 the same while this is happening?!

    God I hate pc's

what type of laptop do you have?
what type of antivirus are you using?
Do you mean internet explorer or windows explorer?

Hi I have an intel dual core laptop with 2gb ram etc all singing all dancing

Using Trend Micro Antivirus full version all subscribed etc

    I mean windows explorer

Interestingly enough I shut down last night and it had 10 updates to install from yesterday and seems much more stable today. Maybe microshaft had found something from the error reports etc?
