on restart explorer changes back to "modified theme"

everytime i restart my computer it resets to the "modified theme" and i dotn know what is causing it??

It is really starting to bug me because i have to change it back to XP theme and when i do that it changes my desktop picture so then i have to go and get my desktop picture and put it back on there...

does anyone know whats going on???

Can you delete modified theme in display properties ?

umm i dont know... i went in and looked but i dont even know where the *.theme files are located???

Right click on blank part of desktop,select Properties,click Themes tab.On the left is a dropdown box,select modified theme,then delete.

its not there anymore and i deleted everytheme besides XP and when i restarted it they came back ..i believe it is classic theme tho..it the onyl one i couldnt delete and it looks the same?? do u have a solution?

I.Are you sure your clicking Apply then OK ? If you just click OK or cancel nothing will stick.
2.Try going to Appearance tab and make sure Windows standard is the color scheme.
3.I`m out of material.
