One U-ATA/133 drive, and one Serial ATA drive at the same time?

I currently have one 80Gb U-ATA/133 drive and I am going to get myself some more storage space. My motherboard does support Serial ATA so I was thinking of going that route for my 2nd HDD.

Before I do that, just wanted to check in and see if there are any problems in doing this? One hard drive connected by IDE, and the other by Serial ATA is doable?

Yes. Just make sure you do not activate any Raid.
