open gl problem

had lots of problems following a game mod download--had to remove and re-install my voodoo 5 drivers- re-installed Direct X 8.1- now my game won't load and I get an Open gl error-

It's definitly a driver problem. If you've reinstalled them & it still doesn't work, it seems reinstalling the OS completely might do the trick ( oh how I love Norton Ghost ... ).

Its look like its Counter-Strike OpenGL?

1. Try to install the latest Nvidia
2. Try to install the latest DirectX (version 9 or 10)

And then:
1. Right Click on the desktop and press properties.
2. Settings
3. Advanced
4. Troubleshoot
5. Move the slider to Full

Now its almost 100% that this will work.

Forgot to say that you must press OK after you moved the slider to Full.
