Opening a new window in IE

If I try to open a new window by right-clicking on a link it will just open up a blank page???

I can open an existing window (in a new window) by pressing Ctrl-N.

I've tried changing my security settings to low and allowing pop-ups, but this has not helped.


I can't understand why this has just started happening, can anyone spread some light on this?

If you start using Firefox, you won't have problems like that.
Go to www.getfirefox.com and stop using IE except for Windoze updates.

Thanks, I downloaded Firefox and my problems have been solved.

I initially didn't want to try Firefox, as in the past I have tried different Browsers like Opera, but ended up going back to IE as a preferance. However I now see why people highly rate Firefox, its Brill.
