Opinions About 6600GT

Hello! I'm looking for opinions about buying a Video card for my friend. He want to spend around $100, my suggestion was the 7600GS but I've seen it around $130 plus tax and S/H will get to 150, so have to get lower that that, I suggest him the 6600GT but not sure if it's the right choice since it has only 8 pipelines. He want to play games like BF 2, AOE 3, NFS MW, and he might also want to play NFS Carbon at medium or lower settngs maybe...

The 6600Gt is a decent card and should be able to handle those games fine. However, for better perfomance, you may want to try and talk him into THIS card. They are better than the 6600GT, and with the Sapphires's sometimes you get lucky and can unlock 4 more pixel pipes. I would suggest spending just a little bit more and getting the 7600 GT, or even the 6800xt.
