Opinions on one particular object identified by Ad-Aware

Just wondering if anyone can help me out...I've read through the "How to remove Begin2Search / CoolWebSearch and other Nasties" thread, and am following the instructions in it. I've just run Ad-Aware, using Windows XP (in safe mode), and I'm worried about deleting the following item that it identified:

Vendor: Windows; Category: Vulnerability; Object Type: RegData; Location: scrfile\shell\open\command "" ("%1" /s "%3")

Is it safe to delete this? I've turned off system restore as per the instructions in the "How to remove Begin2Search" thread, and I'm worried that if something goes wrong by deleting this, I won't even have the system restore function to reverse any damage.

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

When you tell Adaware to fix something, it puts it into quarantine so that you can restore it later if you wish.

So, let Adaware fix the file in question. If you then start to have problems, you can always restore the file.

Also check out this thread HERE as well, for further cleaning of your system.
