Opinions please, ECS mobos

Just looking at e-bay and noticed a couple of ECS mobo with the features that I am interested in BUT, they are extremly cheap comparativly.
Are they any good?
1 other quick question. Looking at mobos I rarely find any mention of firewire support even on the most current ( like socket 939 ) boards. Am i overlooking something?
