Hi, I've got 2 hard drives on my pc, I've got windows 98se on one drive and the other one doesn't have anything on it. Can I put another OS on the other drive? I would like to put Linux on it. Is this possible?
Yes, Linux will work just fine. Just install away and when asked where to install, choose the second hard drive (probably the one that is not named hda), when asked where to put the bootloader, choose the MBR of the first hard drive (hda most likely).
