Outlook 2003 problems

I've been told to put this question on this forum. As I'm new to the concept of BB's, I'll probably still mess something up.
My question is: Is anyone having problems with Outlook 2003 locking up since Microsoft issued it's security update on May 17 or 18 and, if so, does anyone have any idea how to fix it?

1. No I don't have any issues
2. Thunderbird is far better than outlook and free
3. It's foolish to post your email address online in a public forum unless you like spam.

Like I said, I'm new at this. I just filled in the blanks to do this and I don't know where I put the email address that ended up on this thing.
I saw one news item on TechSpot a couple of weeks ago that mentioned this problem, but nothing else. Glad that it has not messed with you.

I hit the wrong button and found your profile. We have the same birthdays, though mine is about 20 years earlier so Viet Nam was my war.
