How do I get Outlook to stop asking me for my password every time I receive an email? I put a check in the box, so it would asking me for it, I have 2 accounts,and it will ask for the password on both accounts.
Do you have the "remember password" box checked? You didn't specify what version of Outlook you're running but in 2003 you can confirm by Opening Oulook and choosing 'Tools' then 'email accounts'. Under 'view or change email accounts' click next, then highlight one of the accounts and click on 'Change", the remember password box should be there.
Start-->Run--> services.msc
Maximize the Services window
Scroll down to "Protective Storage"
Double click on "Protective Storage"
Change the Startup type to "Automatic"
Click on "Start" service button
Close Services
Open Outlook
Type in your password
Go to settings, and type in your password, and tick remember
Close Outlook
