Overclock 9600 AIW np

    Hey guys,
    I have a 9600 AIW non-pro. Just wanted to know if this is the same card as the 9600 AIW Pro only underclocked and missing the fan? If it is would I be safe getting a fan for it and overclocking it to pro speeds? Thanks....

    BTW, this is only temporary, building complete new system soon

    It is most likely the same card but equiped with the chips that did not run reliably at 9600 Pro speeds. The Ram on it might be slower modules too.

    I would not advise you to overclock something that you will need for work. In your previous thread, you said it was a card the school gave to you in order to record basketball games, so I wouldn't run the risk of damaging it.

    Does it not run fast enough at stock speed ?
