Overclocking the b 50 quad (Callisto)

How should i overclock this to 3.5ghz or 3.8 ghz im not use to overclocking in the bios.

generally, with the two cores unlocked. it has a history of only being able to get to 3.4Ghz @ 1.4v-1.424.
if you want to push it, try the AMD overdrive program. Its a very good and stable OC'ing software. raise the 'cpu vid' at .05v increments and run the stability test. make sure you monitor temps while doing it. when it takes a disproportionate amount of additional Vcore to go higher, stop and go back to your last .05v raise. once you find the maximum frequency that is stable, you can make it semi permanent in the bios if you want.

Yes its very good. software Oc'ing has come a long way since the old days. and the A.O.D program is among the best out there.

well ive been trying and i seem to not be able to even load AMD OVERDRIVE at all
