P0wer surge short out mother slow short out

about month ago had lighting storm, hit house behind me I was lucky just knock out my dell dimension 2300. Power suppy was smoke,so I replace it,it came on but key board,mouse,sound card & dail up did'nt work so i put other key board & mouse then i can use about week then intel chip smoke, then nothing. So my question is i bought dimension 3000 motherboard off ebay .
i notice power switch plug diffrent and my cd drives plug also diffrent is there way get match up ? thanks rich4p
