A Celeron D 2.93GHz would beat a P4 1.8GHz, yes. The celeron may be underpowered, but not by that much .

I thought so lol, I bought the P4 1.8 for 20$ and Im gonna build a budget PC around it and sell it for a decent profit, this was just a wondering question lol. And the P4 has 1MB of cache.
