A Celeron D 2.93GHz would beat a P4 1.8GHz, yes. The celeron may be underpowered, but not by that much ;) .

The Celeron D should kill the P4. The P4 1.8 Ghz should have 256 L2 cache, 400 FSB, and the Celeron D has 256 L2 cache, 533 FSB, and more than 1Ghz clock speed advantage.

I thought so lol, I bought the P4 1.8 for 20$ and Im gonna build a budget PC around it and sell it for a decent profit, this was just a wondering question lol. And the P4 has 1MB of cache.
