page_fault_in_nonpaged_area -- error during bootup

Hi, I hope you can help. In trying to reset my network connection, I typed this into the CMD screen: netsh winsock reset. Then, as instructed, I rebooted my computer. Now, I can't get into windows (i'm typing this from my laptop): I get the BSOD page_fault_in_nonpaged_area error every time when I boot up and it's just about to show the windows log-in screen. I can get into safe mode, but that's it. While in Safe Mode, I tried a system restore, but that didn't help. The minidump folder only showed files from months ago.

Any ideas? Thanks so much for any help:)

Can you give us the numbers and filenames that show up with the bsod??

btw- Welcome to Techspot!

Hi, thanks

No filenames are showing up with the error.

The numbers are: STOP: 0x00000050 (0xF4E1000, 0x00000000, 0xF7A74958, 0x00000000)

any ideas?

Does it make sense to try to uninstall network devices in the Device Manager when I'm in Safe Mode, since this problem ocurred after I did the network reset command?

Or am I looking at a Windows reinstall?
