I am having the exact same issue as you described since this morning! I am glad to run into this forum. Any help from anyone is much appreciated! I am not able to see password prompt in normal bootup as well as in safe mode. Windows 7 login screen comes up and when I click on my admin account, the screen goes blank for a second and comes back to login screen. Please help! Thanks in advance!
