PATA SATA question

i have selected a new mobo and hdd the hdd is sata, i have a pata drive i want to run secondary, can i run these together? if so is there any special bios setting i need to set?

Yes and yes.

You'll need to specify the correct boot order in the CMOS configuration, to ensure that your computer boots to your SATA drive.
