PC 333 MHz DDR With the ASUS A7A266 Mobo

I have an ASUS A7A266 mobo and i have been given 512MB of PC 333 DDR memory, can anyone tell me if i can use it in this motherboard at all???

Yes your RAM will work with that motherboard but it will only operate at PC2100 speeds (AKA: DDR266 (I think)).

Yup should run fine at 266DDR. Might able to get a little performance boost by setting the ram timings in your bios to faster timings since the ram is running under spec. Worth checking it out..

Yeah with any luck if it is for example a CAS 2.5 333 Stick, you may be able to get it to run at CAS 2 266Mhz.
