PC Beeps sometimes

Hi, I am currently building a Gaming PC. I dont have an OS System on it yet but I do have the PC built. When I turn it on sometimes it will boot to the BIOS fine but sometimes it will do 1 Long beep and 3 Short Beeps and I know that is is a memory problem but what I cannot work out is why it works sometimes and other times it doesnt.
Can anyone please help with this problem?

My system specs are:
P5K Premium Motherboard
Reaper DDR2 1066 RAM
Intel Quad Core Q6600 CPU
Samsung Spinpoint F1 1TB Hard Drive
BFG NVIDIA GTX 280 Graphics Card
Cooler Master 1000W Power Supply

Never Mind

Dont worry Iv fixed the problem. It was a fault in my VGA cable. One of the pins were damaged. I put a new cable on and everything is fine

beeps are cause by BIOS. read the BIOS beep guide in the guides forum
