Solved PC running slow & connect prob w/sites...possible virus/malware

MBAR says no cleanup is needed. The messages that we were getting on my wi-fi devices was unable to connect to network so maybe it has something to do with my cable service? We were attempting to connect with my I-pod, then the Xbox, then the Wii. When I got on the computer the internet icon at the bottom of the screen had a spinning circle thing over it and it was kind of faded into the background but shortly after I clicked on the open network link it appeared to be fixed. I haven't had this issue in the past. I can contact my ISP tomorrow if you think the problem may have something to do with my service. Let me know if you need clarification on something, sorry I don't know all the technical terms.

A tech came out from my ISP and installed a signal booster on my cable line and said that should take care of my internet disconnecting and I haven't had any issues with it since he was here this afternoon but I am a little skeptical. I am getting a pop-up message when I use IE saying something like you are about to leave a secure internet are would you like to continue and that is happening when the browser is opened. I will await further instructions from you.

I haven't noticed anything else so far but I have been attempting to keep people off the computer, not that it works too well at my house...lol.

You're very welcome
