I have checked the mountings and all the cables. There only indicator that I have that power is being fed is that the led light on the mobo is green meaning it get's power. But when I push the power buttong nothing happens. Not even half a spin of the fan of the PSU. Abosuletly nothing happens. The power strip is good and powers the monitor and printer well. Don't know what it could be.

Try touching a paper clip to the PWR_SW header (or a conductive car key). Usually this is because you don't have the power switch wire in the correct spot. It's easy to put it on the top row vs bottom row if you aren't paying close attention.
