PC Won't Start Even Though Everything Seems Fine

I built a new PC about three weeks ago, a gaming PC. Its been working really really well ever since it was built and I've been gaming on it for at least 6-8 hours every day and I've never ever seen any problems with it. Last night too, I played MGS V and then went to sleep. Before I sleep, I switch off the power supply button. Today morning, I turned it back on. The light on the Motherboard turned on as well, but then I hit the power button. PC starts but ONLY FOR ONE SECOND, and then turns off. Then it doesn't turn on at all. If I turn off the power supply button for a few seconds and turn it back on, the same thing happens again. PC starts for a minor second and then turns off again.

Specs:
8 GB RAM (G-Skill Ripjaws CL12800)
Nvidia GTX 970 4G
i5 4690K
ASUS Z-97 Pro Gamer (Motherboard)
Antec 650w PSU
Windows 10 64 Bit

Hi Pentronas,

Have you tried checking the connections to the power supply? It does sound like a power supply issue. Just curious, why do you feel the need to turn off the power supply each time you shutdown the PC?

Please let us know what it was!
