PCIe vs PCI TV Card

    Looking at getting a Dual tuner TV Card.

    The local PC Shop has 2 cards for a similar price, the Compro DVB-E700 [pcie], and the DVB-T750.

    Apart from leaving a PCI slot free, is there any advantage to using the PCIe {I know it has faster transfer rates, but would this benefit a TV Card?}?

    Video capture is indeed a very "big" task for a computer and it is best to eliminate as many bottlenecks as possible.

    If the cards are identical in other respects (that you care about), get the PCI-E one.
