Pcmcia Card - Ricoh 5c475 - Code 12 Can Not Install

i just got a pci to pcmcia card, a ricoh 5c475, and windows recognizes it and installs it, but under device manager it has the yellow exclamation point icon and under the resources tab for the card it says "code 12 system can not find enough resources"

i have tried several things so far, including every pci slot, reinstalling windows without acpi, just standard i486, adjusting bios irq and memory settings, uninstall/reinstall/disable, nothing changes a bit. there are no device conflicts from what i can see.

i have searched the web for a bit, and it seems these cards don't like amd motherboards..... any suggestions?

well, i think for whatever reason, my motherboard asus k8n nforce 3 250, is NOT pcmcia compatible. what a load of crap! lol.
