PHP editor

I am trying to upgrade my phpBB board.

I've downloaded the files, and I'm trying to look through them all and compare them to the existing files to see where I need to reinstall the few mods that I've used.

Unfortunately, Notepad seems to open the page with 'hard enter's as line breaks, and so there's no whitespace. It's very difficultto read.

I'm after a good small editor that will open these files in the proper format (which is still there were it not for the hard enters,) so that I cann acctually look through these files.

Colour coding would be an added bonus.

Any ideas?

Been using it for years, especially for web-editing.
